2. Copyright Agent
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), we have appointed an agent to receive DMCA notices.

3. How to Submit a Takedown Request
To be valid, a takedown notice must include:

  1. Your signature, whether handwritten or digital
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
  3. Exact URL(s) or location(s) of the infringing material on NewsNests.com
  4. Your full contact information (address, phone, email)
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good‑faith belief the use is unauthorized
  6. A declaration, subject to penalty of perjury, that the details in your notice are correct

4. Counter‑Notice Process
If you believe content was removed in error, send a counter‑notice including:

  • Your signature and current contact details
  • Identification of the removed material and its former URL(s)
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good‑faith belief the use was lawful
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area and agreement to accept service of process

Once we receive a proper counter‑notice, we forward it to the original claimant and may restore the material within 10–14 business days unless we are notified of a court action.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy
We will terminate or suspend accounts of users who have multiple valid takedown notices against them, in compliance with the DMCA’s repeat infringer provisions.

6. Posting and Updates
This policy is linked in our website footer and Terms of Service. We may revise it at any time; changes take effect as soon as they are posted.
